Comic update

The comic received the previously mentioned update to texts on november the 14th. Everything should be in order now, some of the smaller hiccups of the original have been cleared away. I’ll chalk it down to some unforeseen issues that did force a slight hurry on our end. But all is well, lessons learned, and up towards the next installment of the story. One I’m as inspired about as I am excited, it will really bring this story into it’s own. The stage is set for the play to begin in earnest.

COMICAL UPDATES

The updated version of the comic came out at 22 october 2012, and already there’s some stuff needing a small update. As for what that update entails, some reviewing of the texts and small retouches to the graphics are still in order. For the comics fan, not much difference, since the update function is much smoother with iBooks 3, just get a update available notification, and the product is up to speed. With iBooks 2 you had to delete, boot and re-download, which is a bit scary as it felt like there’s no guarantee you wouldn’t be forced to buy the book again.

About the Tunnel ground comic, then. It’s been really fun to read and hear peoples reactions to the comic. We’ve got a lot of helpful input as well, concering errors and whatnot, and it’s really nice to get feedback and using it to improve all aspects involved in the comic. There’s always more to learn, and more room to evolve, which makes this work intresting, even if the hours lately have been on the 12+ side almost constantly. We’re evolving our style as well, which will be clear when the next installment of the comic comes out, same look but with a bit more finesse, as we polish our techniques and delve even deeper into the story.

GAME UPDATE 1.0.1

So the new, vastly improved Tunnel Ground v 1.0.1 is out now. Take that with all the marketing intent you wish, but it’s still a leap in product quality for us. 🙂

“If you experienced the update, what are your feelings
on the improvement of the game etc.”

About the update. The game now runs on iPhone 4, where before it ran on 4s and later models. Mostly it’s been about cleaning up code and implementing more effective environment control. All in all the game works better than ever before, and we continue to work towards this upwards trajectory in functionality. The visual look of the game has also improved a lot in the new update, and the intended mood is a lot better reflected in the update. We hope people who get the app, or already had it, enjoy the new graphics and gameability of v1.0.1.

As always, I, and the crew at Tunnel Ground would really like to know your experiences playing the game, like and dislikes alike. If you experienced the update, what are your feelings on the improvement of the game etc. At this rather early stage of our excistence, there’s a really solid chance for people with constructive ideas to have an actual impact on the games development.
